- China/ Singapore, 31st October 2018 -- Allianz China General Insurance has received approval from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) to change the existing company name to Allianz Jingdong General Insurance Company Ltd, with immediate effect.
- From 1 November 2018, revamped branding including a new logo will appear on the company and direct sales websites, partner platforms, mobile apps, social media and marketing materials.
- The rebranding follows the announcement earlier this year that Allianz and JD.com have entered into a long-term partnership to redefine and deliver protection solutions to meet the evolving needs of Chinese customers.
