- Singapore, November 25
Last night, we marked an important milestone as we concluded this year’s MoveNow Mentoring Program - a meaningful collaboration between Allianz Asia Pacific, the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC), and Halogen Foundation. - The evening opened with remarks from our Regional CFO, Vojtěch Pivný, who shared his personal experience as a mentor in this cohort. He highlighted that mentoring is not about having perfect solutions, but about listening, encouraging, and helping someone take their next step with confidence.
- The closing ceremony also featured a fireside conversation moderated by Carolyn, one of our own mentees, together with Apple Yap, a two-time Paralympian, Ivy Tse, CEO of Halogen Foundation, and Vojtěch. Their conversation touched on resilience, confidence building and the importance of opening doors for others.
- Over the past six months, the MoveNow journey has been shaped by meaningful conversations, shared learning, and support that extended beyond the programme structure. Many mentees shared how the experience helped them find their voice and define a path forward, while mentors shared that the experience helped them reconnect with purpose and the human side of leadership.
This programme would not have been possible without
- Our mentees, for their openness and willingness to grow,
- Our colleagues who stepped forward as mentors and made time to support others,
- Our partners at SDSC and Halogen Foundation for their strong collaboration and support in making this initiative possible.
With this second cohort, we close the MoveNow Mentoring Program with pride. Thank you to everyone who contributed whether through participation, coordination, or support behind the scenes.
