Allianz is pleased to announce the appointment of Vojtěch Pivný as Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Allianz Asia Pacific, with effect from July 1, 2025. Vojtěch will succeed Aaron Fryer, who has decided to return to Australia after many years in Asia to devote more time to personal commitments. Aaron will continue to contribute to Allianz in an advisory capacity, serving as a board member for several Allianz Asia Operating Entities.
Vojtěch served as CFO of Allianz Poland, where he was instrumental in leading large-scale transformation and integration initiatives. He joined Allianz in 2009 and has built his career within the Group, progressing through a range of senior roles across finance, capital management, and risk.
Vojtěch led the complex consolidation of Allianz and Aviva operations in Poland - one of the largest integrations in the market. During his tenure, Allianz Poland’s Gross Written Premium (GWP) grew nearly threefold to EUR 1.4 billion in 2024, underpinned by the expansion of its protection portfolio and a sharpened focus on capital-efficient growth. Over the same period, the company recorded a 15-fold increase in New Business Volumes (NBV) and a fourfold increase in Operating Profit (OP).
