Allianz Asia Pacific Gathers Regional Health Leaders for Second Annual Allianz Asia Health Summit 2025 in Singapore

Singapore, 20 June 2025

Allianz Asia Pacific is proud to host the second edition of its flagship health event, Allianz Asia Health Summit 2025: held this year at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore. Building on the success of the inaugural summit in Kuala Lumpur, the event continues Allianz’s mission to convene the region’s most influential health stakeholders to address urgent healthcare challenges and unlock new pathways for innovation.

Under the theme “Resilience and Innovation”, the 2025 summit brought together more than a hundred of healthcare leaders, including thought leaders, insurers, and healthcare providers from across the Asia Pacific region to explore sustainable strategies for improving access to healthcare while ensuring long-term financial viability.

This was followed by three high-impact panel discussions:

1. Tackling Medical Inflation to Broaden Access to Quality Care

The panel explored how rising healthcare costs are impacting accessibility across Asia. Speakers emphasized the need for greater collaboration among insurers, providers, and tech players, and highlighted the role of data, digital platforms, and value-based models in creating more sustainable systems.

2. Inclusion in Health Insurance for Chronic Conditions

This session addressed the systemic exclusion of chronic disease patients from insurance coverage. Panelists called for a shift toward inclusive underwriting, wellness-focused product design, and early intervention to improve both outcomes and long-term affordability.

3. Better Serving Health Insurance Customers Through Go-to-Market Innovation

The discussion focused on evolving customer expectations and the need for more personalized, transparent insurance solutions. Speakers highlighted how digital tools, advisory-led distribution, and ecosystem partnerships are reshaping how health protection
is delivered.
