Amit Agarwal has been appointed as Regional Chief Health Officer for Allianz Asia Pacific, effective April 1, 2025. Amit will play a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction, innovation, and profitability of our health business throughout the region.
Amit has extensive experience in health and insurance, having spent over ten years at McKinsey & Company, where he led the Health Insurance service line in Asia Pacific. His expertise covers health insurance growth strategy, provider network management, digital health, and business transformation. He has worked with top multinational insurers and healthcare organizations to develop innovative health solutions and drive operational excellence.
Amit will oversee the entire value chain, from product development to claims management and cost containment, ensuring Allianz Asia Pacific remains a leader in customer-centric, value-based health solutions.
Amit holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BBA from the University of Michigan. He will be based in Singapore.
