Allianz delivered healthy full year results that reflected its strong fundamentals in Asia. Excluding foreign currency effects, the region posted an operating profit of €223 million, in line with the prior year. Strong revenue increases in China, Indonesia and Thailand led robust growth in Allianz’s life business, which saw operating profit in this segment rise 3% to €166 million.
